Update 2: App remains as non-functional as it has been for 2 years. I dont even open it anymore because I dont know whats new or not sold out. The Flip sofa keeps showing up even though theyve completely sold out of that line of furniture (to my chagrin). Since I dont use the app anymore, Im deleting it. Thanks.
Update: Though the company remains great as ever, the app can be a little irritating. It used to be that when it loaded up, you could see the new sales grouped into labels, brands, or some descriptor, like most other flash sale apps. Now, if you go to whats new, it shows you each and every individual item. I dont have time to scroll down through the 100+ quilts that might be new in order to find other things that will interest me. Please fix.
To start, the app and selection are awesome. Theres so much cool stuff to look at and its usually priced to sell. What has basically sent me over the edge of happiness with Fab is their customer service.
I ordered a pair of jeans a couple weeks ago and 2 weeks later, I was still waiting for them. I wasnt too worried about it, but while I was ordering a new item I decided to do a little research. The tracker I ended up looking at said the shipment was cancelled and gave no explanation.
Annoyed, I checked my email to see if theyd tried to get in touch and there was nothing. So I emailed them and within 12 hours they responded back, telling me they miscounted the items and had emailed me about it, copy and pasting the original message in which it said theyve given me a $10 credit on top of my refund. Apparently the original message got lost in cyberspace.
All I could think was: Wow. Store credit for the stores blunder? How many businesses do that these days? And without me even saying anything! Fab has earned my loyalty.
